This project was one of the latest works of Fay Jones. The church resembles the Thorncrown Chapel, although, in this case, he uses brick structural walls in the front and back walls that are combined with the wood structure. Another important difference between both projects is the Latin cross floor plan of the Marty Leonard Community Chapel. These differences make this church less ethereal than the Thorncrown Chapel, although the level of craftmanship and detail remains similar.

Post dedicated to Hector Arenas for discovering us this project and his kindness while we stayed in Texas.
