The subject is the city’s invention and alter ego. While a city’s dense urban core graduates outward to suburb, agriculture, the wild nature, here the sequence is reversed. Wild nature inhabits the centre of the site, and is protected by a hard architectural periphery. The dense and urban, buildings, roads, service, parking, are relegated to the edge and delineate the boundary: not a wall but as a permeable lobby in a future urbanity.
