Domino’s Farm Tower, also known as Tom Monaghan’s Leaning Tower of Pizza,  is the most symbolic project of Gunnar Birkets career. Located in the Domino’s Farm in Ann Arbor, the interests of the client of making an object visible from the Highway merged with the own ambition of the architect. Gunnar aimed to create a building that would have an emotional response from the visitor. Therefore, he leaned the tower fifteen degrees from the vertical plane and combined with a orthogonal grid . The color of the facade wanted to suggest different natural elements: sun, sky, water and vegetation. The project was never built but the client created a 1:10 model that remains in the same place as it was supposed to be built.
