Netherdale is a grandstand built between 1963 and 1965 as part of the Gala Stadium sports complex. It is made of five modules built in concrete with an  austere and raw finishing, similar to other projects from the same brutalist period. The relationship between this materiality and the fragility of the section in which a visual perception makes the viewer believe that the heavy roof lies on a glass panel has created that this project becomes a symbol of how concrete can transcend its structural function to become a compositional element.
