Three abandoned barns were placed on 10-meter-high wooden poles, which had to mimic a slow, majestic walk away from the landscape to which they had belonged for several generations. Left to themselves in a “longing” for their former builders without any contact with the land they were once a part of, they flee to the big cities in the south. The story came to a ceremonial end during a Thanksgiving party led by dancer Reijo Kela who lit the barns and danced until darkness descended over the field again.
