It is well known that Pier Vittorio Aureli has widely studied and written about Archizoom and Italian architecture of the 60s and 70s (The Project of Autonomy: Politics and Architecture Within and Against Capitalism, for instance). Although he has brought new concepts and contemporary situations to the architectural board, the influence of this period is also noteworthy on his work. Here we can see the project of Archizoom, Parallels Districts in Berlin (1969) and a contemporary reinterpretation of P.V. Aureli – Dogma for the Venice Bienalle (2012). In both cases a new horizontal grid overlaps into the historic urbanism.

CAMPOS DE INTERSECCIÓN I: Archizoom vs Pier Vittorio Aureli
