The house is located outside the original village centre. The design is based on two fundamental decisions: the location of the building, in line with the orthogonal layout of the old town, rather than parallel to the new peripheral construction; and the extension, into the interior of the house, of the stone wall that marks the boundary of the road leading out of the village. This definition of the entrance road connects the house directly to the last square in the village. The idea of the road guides the interior layout of the house: after climbing the granite staircase, a very high space leads to the living room, from which a large window offers a view of the entire village.
La casa está situada fuera del centro original del pueblo. El diseño se basa en dos decisiones fundamentales: la ubicación del edificio, en línea con la disposición ortogonal del casco antiguo, en lugar de paralela a la nueva construcción periférica; y la prolongación, hacia el interior de la casa, del muro de piedra que marca el límite de la carretera que sale del pueblo. Esta definición de la carretera de entrada conecta la casa directamente con la última plaza del pueblo. La idea de la carretera guía la distribución interior de la casa: tras subir la escalera de granito, un espacio muy alto conduce al salón, desde donde una gran ventana ofrece una vista de todo el pueblo.
